In the year 2017 alone, 139 people were exonerated for crimes they did not commit – some had even been sentenced to death. Many others were sentenced to forever.
The mission behind Convicted is to share the stories of the exonerated through their own voices empowering the individual exoneree while also educating and compelling listeners to help end this type of injustice.
